Some services provided fall outside the scope of the NHS and therefore attract charges.
Examples include the following:
- Medicals for any purpose, e.g. pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
- Insurance claim forms
- Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
- Private sick notes
- Vaccination certificates
Our reception staff will be happy to advise you about appointment availability and applicable charges.

- Bus pass supporting letter: £25
- Council tax disregard: Free
- To whom it may concern/private letter: £30 to £50 (depending on complexity)

Driving
- HGV/Bus/Coach/Taxi medical (form must be fully completed by patient): £125
Employment/Education
- Adoption/foster carer (prospective): £120 (per person)
- Adoption/foster carer (update): £30 (per person)
- Ofsted health declaration (SCC/local authority) with medical: £120
- Other (not complex): £45
- Employment, pre-employment medical and report: £150
- Health questionnaire (university, teacher, nursing training): £30 to £50
- Police medical/early retirement form: £45 to £100 (depending on complexity)
- Subsequent exam/additional time needed: £30
Insurance (Life, Critical Illness, Sickness, Redundancy etc)
- Medical assessment examination and report: £165
- Private insurance claim forms: From £45

Legal
