Maternity Care

Most antenatal care is on a shared basis between the hospital, the GP of your choice and the Practice Midwife. The midwife will arrange your booking appointment at the hospital.

The GPs and midwife can provide full details of local services for antenatal education, delivery and postnatal care. In addition, there are Parentcraft meetings held on a regular basis.
