ADHD Referrals
Due to the high demand of ADHD referrals being received in the Kent and Medway area, the ICB (Integrated Commissioning Board) has implemented strict activity limits and prioritisation measures for ADHD assessments across both children and adult pathways.
Routine appointments are on hold: This is due to high demand and budget limits, therefore routine ADHD assessment (including those via NHS right to choose) are on hold
The expected wait for a routine assessment will not be until after April 2027.

It has been decided that Blackthorn Medical Centre will not take on further ADHD referrals for Children and Adults until resolution to the situation on funding and right to choose has been decided.
